New VCE App - Tell me what you want in it!

Hey people,

It's getting to that stage in the year when exams are just around the corner. Imagine what your year could have been like if you had a smartphone app to guide you through the process. Have you ever wanted to do more VCE activities on your smartphone, such as studying, planning, finding ways to stay motivated or competing with friends?

I'm putting together a new and innovative VCE smartphone app for iPhone and Android.
I want this app to be as useful and enjoyable for you as possible, so I've put together a 5 minute questionnaire to help me understand what you want and need.

Opening up the floor to discussion here.... To what extent would you want a VCE app to convey a game-like experience?

On the one end of the spectrum, you have a simulated world in which the user has a customisable avatar who achieves rewards for accomplishing real-world VCE tasks.
On the other end, you have a minimalistic, pragmatic, purely functional app that facilitates testing and so on...

Where do you sit on the spectrum? Somewhere in between?

TBH, I think a more minimalistic pragmatic app would be a lot better. If you have it like a game, alot of people may see the game element as gimmicky and be turned off by it.
