Printing

Hey guys,

Does anyone know whether University of Melbourne or Monash University offer printing services/binding ?

I would go to Officeworks but it would be much more convenient to go to a university to print and then I can do some light study. :)

Thanks!

All universities offer printing and binding,

but Officeworks is much much cheaper.

Buy a laser printer.

My printer was ~$100, unofficial toner off ebay is $20 (for 2600 pages apparently).

It's served me well. Try get one with duplex/can print on both sides, also insanely useful.

Just dividing the price of a toner compared to the capacity, its less than a single cent a page.

Even if you divide the cost of the printer (it comes with a half filled toner, so 2600/2), it stills comes in under 10c a page and you get to keep it.

Once you "make back" the $100 for buying the thing in printing savings (trust me, you will, rest of VCE + Uni + Whatever), you're essentially paying for ink, which i said above, works out to a less than a single cent a page. I'm sure saved time, convience, instant ability to print and less frustration is worth something too.
