Are you allowed to use notes during these? I was allowed to with Further and I know you're allowed to in Methods and Specialist Exam 2, but I'm not sure if this applies to SACs.

Yes, in Tech-active SACS, you are allowed to bring in 1 bound reference and have a graphics calculator.

EDIT: Although some schools don't have tech-active and tech-free sacs together. Some have just one tech-free sac (a one-off) or some have just one tech-active sac. It all depends on what your school decides.

Doesn't it depend on the school though? I was allowed two A4 sheets (double-sided) for Methods.

You are meant to have one-bound reference (I'm pretty sure theres something that VCAA says about this), but yes, it does depend on what your school decides to do.

Stick it depends,
With Ellul in spesh we would use either calc + notes, calc only or no notes or calc.
There was never a time when we could bring in just notes and no calc.
