Difference between bachelor of environments and science at UOM?

Okay, so either bachelor of science or bachelor of environments, both at Melbourne Uni, will hopefully lead me to study civil engineering. Now, what is the real difference between the two courses? Is one better than the other in any way? Thanks :) :)

I guess it depends what kind of subjects you want to study at Uni. Science is broader, so it can lead to a variety of post grad fields

They are the SAME major so they have the exact same major subjects (4 level 3 subjects + a couple of level 1 & 2 prereq leading to those major subjects.) Also, essentially BSc has no core subjects, so apart from those civil engineering subjects, you can take whatever you want, whereas BEnv has its own core subjects (Natural  env., Reshaping env., Urban env. etc.), you therefore have less options. Same major, different degree (and elective subject), so it really depents on what you also like other than civil eng.

I hope this helps.
