IDK what I want to Major in yet, tossing between the following:

Biochemistry and molecular biology
Microbiology, Infection & Immunology
Physiology
Bioengineering systems
Human structure and function
Defence & disease
Cell & developmental biology
Pharmacology

LOOL but if I want to do BioEng I have to make my decision now...
Breadths I will be taking throughout the course of my degree will include the business/corporate law breadths, philosophy (maybe? lecturer was freaky), maybe one or two in commerce (finance/economics) and GLEE SINGING (dont hate)
2013-2015: Bachelor of Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne

Do you guys recommend doing Maths as breadth? If you're into say Accounting and Economics, will Calculus/Linear Algera etc help us that much?

Calculus will help economics. Linear Algebra is pure mathematics, so I don't see it helping accounting or economics that much IMO.

Major: Chemistry, but will take as many Bio/Maths classes as possible outside my major.

Breadth: German, other units undecided (apparently I can take an extra two subjects of breadth in Year 1 and want to do something not language-related, is that allowed?). Diploma of Languages in Year 2.
VCE: Chemistry | Biology (2011) | English (2011) | Environmental Science | Mathematical Methods CAS

2013-2015: BSc [Zoology] @ UoM | DLang [German - DISCONTINUED]
2016: GDSc [Botany] @ UoM
2017-2018: MSc [Biosciences - Zoology] @ UoM

Summer: BOTA30006

S1: BOTA20001 | EVSC20004 | BOTA30003 | BIOL90001

S2: GEOG20009 | BOTA30002 | BOTA30005 | EVSC20003 | NRMT90002

Subject and major reviews incoming :)

If you're serious you pretty much just jumped up like sixty flights of stairs in the AN Building from ground floor to fucking full-time sick cunt (assuming you're doing 4 units* a semester of course, otherwise you're a part-time sick cunt)

*or whatever the Melbourne equivalent of a Monash 'unit' is? :s

yes this is allowed. However when you start the diploma for second year, your German subjects will only count towards your diploma, I.e. not to you bachelor's breadth requirements. So if you start the diploma in year 2, you will need to complete in addition two other breadth units in either year 2, 3, or 4 (where one cannot be a level 1 subject) as well as those taken in your first year. When you start the diplang from first year, the German subjects from that year will count towards both the diploma and your bachelor.
2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.
