Always basing creative piece on school

Hey guys, I have an upcoming SAC for English Context. I've been writing a few practices and the one theme I've realised is that for most of the stories I write, it involves school. I'm doing Identity and Belonging, Growing up Asian in Australia. I mean, a lot of the things like bullying, socialising, understanding our differences, occur at school. I guess that's why I've been using it as my base for a lot of my stories/blogs etc..

Is this okay?

Given the nature of 'context', you're fine writing about any theme so long as it's relevant to the prompt and so long as it's good.

However, consider that many students who are also doing GUAIA are also going to be writing on the theme of school - so if you decide to do this, you must make sure it stands out.

The good thing about context is that all you need to do well is an idea, and time. Write an initial piece on whatever theme you're comfortable with, and have it critiqued and marked by your teacher/ANers/a tutor (if applicable). Keep drafting and re-writing this piece based on the suggestions you get, and eventually you'll end up with a 10/10 piece.

Then, all you need to do is adapt it for the exam's prompt.

Thanks for that, I'll transcribe it onto word or I'll just type it straight onto AN.
