Just wondering if someone could help me out on a word class and sentence type question, pretty basic i know but yeah.
What type of sentence would this be: Angela Brad, who dedicated her life to helping others, died recently
Also what word class would not be classified as in this context: Tim wanted to go not only because the other boys were going..

Hiya, I'm pretty sure the sentence type/mood would be a declarative sentence as it is declaring someones death, a good way of confirming this is to ask whether the sentence is imperative (is it commanding an action?), declarative (simply a statement?), exclamation (is it exclaiming anything?), interrogative (is it a question?)

As for word classes,
Angela Brad would be treated as a Noun, who (pronoun), dedicated (adjective), her (pronoun), life (noun), to (preposition), helping (noun), others (noun), died (verb past participle), recently (adverb)

Hope that helped  ;)

Hey thanks for your reply but I meant to say sentence types as in complex compound simple and the word classes as in the sentence following the question

The sentence structure would be complex, as the sentence contains a dependent clause (who dedicated her life to helping others).

As for "not", I think it would be classed as an adverb.
