Do undergrad grades affect my grade when I do masters?

Does the uni combine the grades of both degrees  to give a final result or is it separate?
If it's separate do employers look at my masters results?
I'm asking because i dont know how serious i should take my undergrad.

if u want to get into a very competitive masters degree and you want to be in consideration for postgrad scholarships then undergrad results will be very important as that is the main indicator of your abilities. More crucially, you should have reasonable high scores in your field of specialisation.
