Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me with this essay of mine, on GDB.

The Question is
"Generals Die in Bed is a narritive not of war, but of human nature. Discuss?"

Can you guys help me out with ideas on what to write and any quotes you can think of.
Help would me much appreciated.

I did GDIB last year, so my memory of it isn't quite.. clear.

But you can write about how human nature changes to accommodate one's situations - For example, how war dehumanises the soldiers (they become cruel? indifferent to death? they become like animals?), how soldiers react when their life is in danger (his encounter with Karl), how permanently damaging war is to a person (his comment in the end) .. etc.

I hope that helped. :\
