Anybody know a reliable resource to find the AD & AS factors over the past 4 years that have had an influence on the rate of each of the government's key goals?
Many thanks.  ;D

One of my favourite sites for eco stats. Made by a VCE teacher.

Check it out:

There would be hundreds if not thousands of different factors affecting AD/AS in the economy. Knowing 2 or 3 different factors for both AD and AS should be sufficient for the exam, perhaps learn 4 or 5 each for AD/AS to be safe.

A good place to start is to review recent economic statistics and work out yourself the various effect each change in statistics (e.g. consumer confidence levels) would effect AD or AS and hence a eco. goal. A good resource for finding the statistics is this site which was created by an atarnotes member (http://eco-stats.appspot.com)

And of course if there is a certain statistic or effect you have doubt about it's always good to ask a teacher, atarnotes etc.

An almost essential two to know from AD side (in my opinion) would be growth in China (overseas foreign activity) and consumer/business confidence in light of the GFC.
AS you should definitely know climatic conditions and exchange rate.
You'd be expected to be able to draw on a wide range of factors, but I personally can't see them asking more than one, or two questions on the subject matter

Hey guys, in regards to the Eco stats website that was linked, should we know the exact statistical figures for the exam, or would a general trend be acceptable?

Trends are acceptable. Stats would impress the examiner.
