So I've got to start planning my major(s). I'm looking at doing either Genetics/Immunology+Microbiology or Genetics/Physiology. Can anyone doing any of immuno/micro or physiology give me an idea what it's like?

Cheers :)

How much exposure have you had to them so far? I can't imagine making a choice on that without actually having taken subjects that revolved around them.

I've taken a unit of combined biophysics/physiology - which I enjoyed (the physiology part anyway); I'm currently taking a combined molecular biology/immunology/microbiology unit. Also really enjoying this one!

Therefore, I have no idea. Various faculty members have said to do what I want, no idea what that is though :)

Really look into the areas. Download some of the lectures from this year to get an idea about the subjects it'll lead you into next year. If desperate, ask lecturers for unit guides.

It's a bit like choosing your VCE units in year 10, most people didn't have much of an idea about what they were getting into. It's a similar idea here. Just choose what you roughly like. If it's horrible, theres probably room to bail.
