Question regarding those who don't get the 'clearly in' score.

Example course: http://www.vtac.edu.au/CourseSearch/searchguide.htm?courseCode=2800328551

Clearly in ATAR: 85.05

% Below: 44.12

I was wondering what the range of ATARs would be for those who got below the clearly in ATAR but still got into the course? Does anyone have any estimate/idea of what they may be?

44.12% is actually a huge amount to decrease, this pretty much means/implies that the university needs more students to enroll in that course. The range of ATAR would be: 85.05 - (85.05*0.4412) = 47.5
thats the minimum ATAR required to be eligible to get in.
so range would be 47.5 - 85.04.
I have no idea what calculations you just did. The 44.12% is saying that 44.12% of the 47 people that got a first round offer for the course were under the clearly-in ATAR. You can't deduce what the lowest ATAR accepted was from that.

Hi,

Is a 3,4 atar gap difference enough to get me in first round pick? Or even get offered?
I got 88.55 and the engineering courses at monash is 91.4 and 92.75 (one with double degree)
Plus 48.45% and 24.51% respectively (below clearly in)

Thanks
