What is the process with being offered a scholarship?

I was wondering how Monash offers scholarships, I achieved a 98.20 which I think makes me borderline for the Commerce Scholar's Program (currently no 1 preference) and eligible for the Dean's Scholarship. Does having Monash courses in my preferences make me automatically in the running for the general scholarships and if I was going to be offered one would I have received a call/email/text by now?

If you get into the scholars program course, then you'll automatically get the scholarship. So you won't find out until offers come out.

Do you have any idea how the scholarships work for engineering? I'm doing eng/commerce double degree with a 98.30 and haven't heard anything yet.
