Hopefully:
- conflicting realities
- conforming to a reality

Conflicting would be sensational. I hope it's something to do with understanding reality.....I don't even know haha, perhaps the difference of perspective or something.

Like subjective realities? I'd LOVE that too. How about how experiences/memory shape our view of reality? I'd like that!

Does anyone think it's unlikely that the prompt will relate to the consequences of resorting to subjective reality, given that last year's prompt was 'Losing touch with reality is often dangerous'?
2013: Korean SL [39] / Methods [48]
2014: EAL [47] / Specialist [49] / Accounting [49] / Chemistry [40] / ATAR: 99.95

Highly unlikely, but VCAA could so be ready just in case.

Oh my gosh if VCAA wanted to be really dog, they would do memory. Because it's sooo specific. I think it's something about people influencing each other's realities (because of the new film, Wag the Dog)

I have a perfect piece that delves into how it is difficult to sustain a unique view of reality amidst a world dominated by an IMPOSED reality. :)

Conformity to a reality I would kill. American Dream FTW.

Conflicting realities is quite similar, but not as much to go on imo. All I could really talk about would be like cognitive dissonance and maybe the instability of memory being impressions of our own experience, meaning that no reality is the same for two people.

Do you reckon it would be weird to talk about how a reality could be the same and two or more people can see the same reality? Like conjoined twins who share a brain but are deemed two people :D

FUCK OATH MATE! Exact same boat as you, let's hope VCAA comes through with the goods, otherwise my piece probably won't be "completely" addressing the prompt

Please be either of these. I wrote really well about conflicting realities this morning! I think it could even be a combination of the two - like how conflicting realities make us uncertain as to which world we should adopt

Ooh that would be a really cool prompt actually. How because SO many versions of reality exist, we no longer know which one to adopt!! Good one walkec

I really enjoyed the trial-exam prompt and i hope the actual exam goes along those lines. About how fear of what is unfamiliar leads to rejection of certain realities. You could use the Freudian concept of the Uncanny really well for something like this.
