Help writing a 'riddle'

Hi guys,

Thought i'd come to the smartest people in Vic for help with an odd request  8)

So a friend of mine wants to know my birthday (which I keep hidden) - of course, I don't want to make it that easy for the person!

I want to write a riddle, but have no idea how to approach it. Something self-contained or not with clues to find the numbers that lead to the date.

The person studies Biomed/Sci, would it be worthwhile using that as a theme and basing questions off that? I find the stuff in Dan Brown's book pretty appealing, but those type of problems require a lot of  thought. Deltora Quest had some cutesy riddles too.

So my question to you guys is, if you were in this situation, how would you write a riddle to mask a date in the calendar?

Thanks all! :D
