Legal Studies 2014

I've done this for a few of my subjects so I thought I'd start a thread for legal as well. Stick your hand up if your enrolled for 2014!

Are you guys planning on doing any study over these holidays?

Something to write as a 'look-back momento' of what you wanted to achieve, what is your hopeful study score and how do you plan on achieving it?

Best of luck fellas!

Me :D

Planning on reading+writing notes on the whole of unit 3. Starting prac sacs for AOS1 in summer.

I really need high 40's for two subjects so I'm going to shoot for the stars here (with the intent of landing on the moon) and say my aim is a 50.
Graduated with Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Arts from Monash University in June 2020.

Completing Practical Legal Training (Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice)

Offering 2021 Tutoring in VCE Legal Studies (Awarded as Bialik College's top Legal Studies Student in 2014).

Offered via Zoom or in person across Melbourne.  Message me to discuss. Very limited places available.

Let us aim high together :) My school is relatively weak in individual subject scores despite being in the top 50 Victorian schools yet had a person getting a 49, two getting 46, one 45 and multiple lower 40's.

I would love a premiers award for a subject so let us go for a 50!

My school just set reading and questions from chapter 1 of our book for homework, so I guess I'm doing that, plus filling out this table they gave us on strengths and weaknesses of parliament.

Your posts make my plans seem mediocre, but I'm just going to do the homework and stay up to date in class and always just listen and be on the same page as the teacher. That seems to work for me and require not as much effort in terms of planning :D

As for aims, I'd like to aim for above 40, but so was the '13 legal class at my school and we didn't get as many above 40's as we expected (like 1 I think), so I shall be happy with anything really, but below 35 would be a disappointing personally to be honest...

VCE: English, Health, Legal, Psych, Further, Chem
2015: Arts/Law @ Monash

Guys I only doubled with Arts because I couldn't let go of Psych and wanted to keep doing it as a major at least, but I took International Studies on a whim after the info session just because I needed a minor, and I love it so much! It's 3:29am and I had to share this, I think I'm majoring in it bye.

Haha I haven't started doing anything! I'm doing exactly what you're doing but if I do end up doing any study I'll go over AOS1.

Wouldn't it just better to focus on each sac?  Rather than the entree unit 3?

It's a personal choice really. There's no hard and fast rule.

Have done no study these holidays for any subjects but am considering attempting to find my legal book (lost it twice) tomorrow to give it a read.

My school set us 'transition' work to so with why laws need to change, types of ways groups and individuals can influence a change in the law, examples of this etc.

I'm aiming in the high 40s!
