Hi, I was just looking for some advice on the structuring of essays in the exam.
Are you meant to write a sort of 'general introduction' responding to the prompt from a wide perspective, or dive straight into specifics of a religious tradition?

Are you meant to write a sort of 'general introduction' responding to the prompt from a wide perspective, or dive straight into specifics of a religious tradition?

I just wrote mine like a normal english essay

in the intro, start off with some airy philosophical bs that the assessors will love. then go into some basic discussion of the prompt and state your contention. signpost your arguments, making sure to clearly state which religion you are doing, and then do a nice final sentence restating your contention just so its clear.
