English lang SAC scores

Is there any hope in English Lang?? I go to a high performing school with a moderate to strong cohort but I received crappy SAC scores. I believe i'm ranked the middle to above avg for Unit 3 and quite low for Unit 4. I have a private tutor and he says I've been improving significantly (since I'm actually putting effort now) In a hypothetical situation where I completely smash the exam, is there any chance of a 40+?? please be realistic, i just need to know if there's even a glimpse of hope that i can still get it

also another question, say if the majority of a cohort (120/125) performs very well in an exam (A-A+) but like 5 people completely screw up the exam and get like a C, does that still mean the lowest ranked students will get a C as well for their SAC score?? cuz in a way, the low scores arent really reflective of the majority of the cohort
