SAC SCORE BECOMES EXAM SCORE?

Ok

So from my understanding of Sac Scores and Exam Scores whoever is Rank 1 in Sacs will always get the highest SAC Score. e.g. You get 70% on sacs and 95% on exam while rank 1 gets 85% on sacs and 90% on exam, then your Exam mark becomes their sac mark and they go from 85% sacs to 95%.

Now here is my question.

Lets make a hypothetical class up, Economics.
If I were to get a C+ average during the year and A+ the exam  (rank 1 A+) would my Sac Scores also become an A+ even though I am not rank 1 or would I perhaps get a small boost in Sac Marks while Rank 1s Sac Marks mirror my Exam Marks and I basically get nothing.

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer

I can't confirm the validity of your post, could someone confirm if this is true?

then your Exam mark becomes their sac mark
Wouldn't that be unfair? This post is starting to scare me, I hope this isn't the case.
I'm a bit naive myself when it comes to calculating SAC percentages and Exams scores.

Raw sac scores don't matter. Only your rank.
If you get c+ in sacs, and people who are ranked similar to you get c+, your moderated sac score will be c+ regardless of exam score.

Unless people ranked similar to you in sacs will pull off A+, it's highly unlikely.
Although  I've heard stories of sacs scaling a lot if you do super well in the exam (like full marks), under extraordinary circumstances. I wouldn't get my hopes up too high, as I know someone who got 37 with b in sacs and A+ in exam. This was chem last year btw.

:-[ So unless One pulls off a theoretical 100% on exams their sac marks stay the same. That Sucks.
Was my comment about rank 1s SAC score mirroring the highest exam score true, its the way my Maths teacher tells it. My English teacher says SAC scores tend to be better than Exam Scores and thus Sac Scores Go Down (Mostly) when you get your final results.

This is a vast simplification of a system that no one (outside of VCAA) actually understands.

I wouldn't even worry about it, just focus on the exam. Your scores will scale if you do well.

Just wanna reiterate this. I was really concerned about this during term2/3 and so asked my maths teacher. He simply put it 'do your best and you'll get your best score'. He said it really has little implication, from what he has seen anyway.

I'm not sure if anyone has responded saying this, but I'll just say it anyway through example.

Apple is rank one. Pear is rank two. In the exam, pear gets the highest exam mark - he keeps this exam mark. However, Apples SAC mark becomes Pear's exam mark, alongside his own exam mark.

The exam marks don't change. SAC marks become relative to your rank. This is why results don't really matter.

You don't even have to get full marks - last year I had a below 40% average in SACs for Philosophy, and they were scaled up to a B+ with the exam.

It's not worth worrying over at this point in time, to be honest.
2013 : Philosophy (31) | VCE VET Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) (31)

2014 : Food Tech (40) | Accounting (35) | Art (39) | Visual Communication Design (40) | English (38) [hopefully!!]

Just like what OP said, this is also what a few people have told me. But i'm just thinking to myself, surely VCAA has some more complicated processes than that? I mean, that makes the most sense in many ways, but do they take anything else into account? Seems a bit simple IMO
