Remarking exams

So I an fairly dissapointed with one or two of my study scores, and would like to ask about the process of getting exams remarked and sacs double checked again. Is it possible that they have made a mistake? And also, is it possible for them to deduct marks and thus get a lower score? Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

There is a slight chance they have made a mistake, but it depends on the subject. You have higher chance of appealing an error in more objective subjects (such as any Maths) than you would for more subjective subjects (English). As for the possibility of them deducting marks, I've been through the process and I don't believe they can deduct marks from you. I think how it works is that your teacher asks for certain questions to be re-examined, and the person remarking it only looks at these specific questions, but I'm not entirely sure

Hope this helps
