What 1/2 subject should I do alongside my 3/4 Subjects

I'm doing my year 12 over two years(I have just completed further maths) . Next year I will be doing Chemistry, Methods and EAL. I want to pick up a 1/2 subject this year so that the following year(2016) I can have more than three subjects (Specialist,Biology and Economics), as I feel I will become lazy and unmotivated having so little to study in the final year(I am the sort of person who NEEDS to be busy and be occupying myself at all times). I have already completed 1/2 Methods, Chemistry (both of them twice, once in year 10 and again in year 11, I didn't want to do 3/4 just yet), English, Economics, Physics and Biology. (the school does not offer GMA, so I have to go straight through to spesh in 2016)
....Sorry for the abuse of brackets guys.

I have already decided that this is what I want to do, and my school is aware. So all I am asking is for some advice on which 1/2 subject to pick up, I don't want anyone to try change my mind.

-I hated physics ( but I did very well on my end of year examination 96%)
-Hated Biology(alas, my dream course requires it, and I also did very well on my exam 95%)
-DESPISE English (my GAT score was absolutely horrific)
-I LOVED further this year, I like statistics and such. (Study score was excellent)
-Want a 1/2 that directly leads on to 3/4. Eg. Unit 4 Biology is hogwash
-Accounting looks great, but a few people have said that it is extremely boring.
-I'd prefer to do a subject that is mostly rote memorisation and no previous knowledge or "natural abilities" needed.

-I have mentioned that I didn't do GMA this year, should I do the GMA course in my spare time(Niether distance education, tafe offer GMA)?

Appreciate your thoughts and suggestions, look forward to your replies !  ;D

EDIT: I have looked at doing Extensed Investigation for quite a while now too, do you guys that have done it recommend it?
EDIT 2: thought it would be helpful to mention that I can memorise definitions almost instantaneously, which is why I said rote memorisation is the way to go.

Have you considered psychology?

The thing is, the 1/2 doesn't DIRECTLY lead to a 3/4, but in unit 1 you cover research methods, which will be explained in unit 3, but if you learn how to write good research reports earlier, it does help in 3/4!

You wanted a subject that is mostly rote memorization, and yes psychology is a lot of rote memorization. I wouldn't call psych an easy subject, despite the scaling, as it's quite intense to memorize such information (this is from my peers, I didn't do psych 3/4). However, psych 1/2 is a lot of fun and interesting (my opinion after doing 1/2).

Another option is PE. I don't know too much about it, as my school doesn't offer 1/2 PE, but apparently it's similar to biology, which you might not like since you said you hated bio. But PE has similar style of content and learning to bio (rote memorization).

Hey, thanks for your advice. I was thinking about psychology, but, as my English skills are quite poor, I thought that I have almost no chance of getting a 45+ in psychology because of the extended response section.

well you want to do 8 subjects, 2 of them aren't going to count anyway, so one of them might as well be psychology (sorry, I know this isn't really a helpful comment, but I do commend you for wanting to do 8 subjects!)
but if you're interested in the brain/sleep/memory/mental health and such, then do psych.

another option I guess would be accounting? I think unit 2 is recommended for 3/4, but is not necessary (I'm not too familiar with this subject haha)

Well seeing as I am doing year 12 over two years, 8 subjects is very achievable and the same as doing 4 each year. I'll look a bit more into psych, thanks for your input !

But yes, I'd like a bit more info on accounting

I only completed Accounting 1/2 this year so I'm not too sure about 3/4 - I absolutely hated it because it was so dry and boring; BUT, as a subject it is very easy, and definitely relies heavily on memorisation of definitions, equations (financial indicators) etc., so if you prefer rote learning then I believe Accounting would be quite suitable :)

Do you think that a strong mathematical ability is needed or not really?

Nope, the maths in accounting is pretty basic (add, subtract, multiply and divide). I completed accounting 3/4 this year, and I have to say it was a pretty chilled subject, and there's not a lot of memorisation if you know your stuff, and since the knowledge carries on from one topic to the next so you're always constantly revising, and it's more of a applications subject! The only thing I tried to memorise was the answers I gave (rote learning the answers). The downfall of Accounting is that it's REALLY easy to make small mistakes, more easier than methods imo. The content is not too bad, some of its just common sense and I think that 3/4 is much better than 1/2. The knowledge from 1/2 carries on to 3/4 which I believe is a good thing because you already have that background knowledge.

I completely agree with what lisax3 has said. I didn't find Accounting too boring, I really enjoyed it :) I felt that everything made sense and the theory complemented the application process rather well.
