Advanced Standing - Monash Com to Melb Com

Hey Guys,

I am been successful in my transfer from Commerce at Monash to Commerce at UoM (YAY!!) . I am just wondering how the credit/advance standing process works?

I am wondering if these units will be credited at Melbourne
ACC1000 (Principles of Accounting and Finance) – ARA (Accounting Reports and Analysis)
MGC1010 (Intro to Management) – Organisational Behaviour
ECC1000 (Microeconomics) – Introductory Microeconomics
ETC1000 (Bus Stats) – Quantitative Methods 1
MKC1200 (Marketing) – Melbourne Marketing Unit

also i have completed 3 units of which i assume would be credited as breathes?

Contains hopefully contains answers to most of your questions. As to whether your specific subjects will be credited, it's quite hard to say, so applying is the best way to find out!

Go8 universities generally have agreements for cross-crediting, and most of those units are sufficiently similar in content to do so. I think you'll get credit for most, if not all, of those.

All those commerce subjects will definitely be cross-credited, including MKC1200 if you were unsure since it's equivalent to MKTG10001. Also, what were the other 3 subjects that you completed?

The other three units were some random arts units that I did. So I imagine they would get credit as breathes, hopefully haha

I transferred from Monash to Melb.

ACC1000 (Principles of Accounting and Finance) was a general level 1 credit
MGC1010 (Intro to Management) was Managing and Leading Organisations (or something similar as OB is a level 2 subject)
