Posting in English Q&A would probably get the best response.  Sorry, it's a bit hard to answer because the questions are quite vague!  Do you have any more specific issues? Maybe if you post a paragraph of your work, someone can springboard from there.

English Resources and Sample High Scoring Responses has lots of helpful posts; specifically related to text response, DJA's guide for English Expression (Text response) may help you.  Reading other people's sample work (under the SAMPLES heading in English Resources and Sample High Scoring Responses) can help you find good verbs, sentence starters and ways of analysing.

I'm assuming you meant to post this in the English area.

You should see this attachment made by Literally Lauren (yes, an AN user that's not me) found here: English Q&A (Also, probably where you should ask this burning question of yours. Check out the link first though.)

Merged qns from the other board.

OP, could you be more specific about what you need help with? Otherwise browsing the resources listed above might help clarify your points :)

Ive got one question that is a little bit more specific... My teacher told me while I'm analysing, to talk about the metalanguage the author uses. So for example, if the author uses imagery and I found a quote/example of this, how would I analyse that?

:'( Can anyone help with that or should I be more specific?
