For those who do King Henry IV Part I for Mod C, how does Shakespeare indicate Hal's qualities make him better suited to being a ruler than Henry - looking for textual evidence pls!

The scene in which he switches from prose to verse - towards the end of act 2 scene 4 - this highlights that he can most easily adapt between audiences, and so he can be more relatable and charismatic towards the people e.g. his relationship of convience with the tavern gang but he can also become a political figure head and act with the righteous decorum necessary in the court.

Do you also know of any textual evidence supporting the idea that Hal acts morally and in the interests of the common people?
