Can someone help me out here, is it possible to study this course:

http://sydney.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-engineering-honours-and-bachelor-of-science

And major in biomedical engineering for the bachelor of engineering, and major in medicinal chemistry for the bachelor of science?

I don't see why not, I reckon you can. What makes you think otherwise?

For the Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree, students will complete core and available elective units of study as required by their engineering stream. Students undertake an Honours thesis or engineering project in fifth year.

Student will complete one major in the Bachelor of Science from the majors available within the Faculty of Science.

This is off that page, it doesn't say you can select a major in the engineering degree but it says you can select a major in  the science degree?

Yeah - engineering doesn't have "majors", per se. They have streams. For all intents and purposes, a stream is basically a major. It's just a major that occupies the whole degree instead of part of it.

Aha - so one could choose the biomedical "stream" (it's listed on the engineering faculty handbook) so I could be studying biomedical engineering and medicinal chemistry at the same time?  :D
