Methods bridging course?

Hey guys,
So I'm not 100% sure of how to enroll into MTH1010?? Do I just type in the course code like with the other units, or do I do something else because it's not an arts course??
Also, I recognise that this is probably going to be really hard - particularly if you don't have a strong maths background (or like me, pretty much no maths background), and I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimation of how tough this was for them? I've seen Slothpomba's posts - the unit looks to tough; can people pass this if they're a bit below averageish at maths???
Thank you very muchh :)
Jaffyness shining through!!

I think you should just call the faculty adviser before you submit anything. As far as I know, you can't change your enrollment through WES. As for methods as a subject, I think practice is key. If you dedicate like an hour a day (or something like that) to going through practice questions, you'll be fine. There is a lot of repetition in methods, and math in general, so you can use this to your advantage.  You should keep in mind that MTH1010 is designed for people who haven't done math since year 10, so I'm sure they do all the groundwork before anything crazy.

Yeah, just add it like any other unit. It might seem weird because you're doing arts, and this is a science unit, but it really doesn't matter - you have electives that can come from any faculty, after all!

As for difficulty, look - if you go in expecting that you'll need to put the work in, and then go ahead and put the work in, you should be okay. Don't forget that any and all VCE resources (in particular, Khan academy) will also be able to help you with the unit if you struggle. Hell, if you're really worried, try and get your hand on a methods book, and do questions from that book as you learn it in uni. That's probably a bit overkill, mind, but if you put in the effort, you'll generally be happy with the result.
