ACER practice test 1 result

For the Acer practice test 1 (the free one), I got 94/134, does anyone have a rough idea what percentile this could translate to?

Unfortunately not good. Mtse wrote she got 129/134 with this practice test and actual 196 overall score.
If it goes proportionally, 94/134 would translate to less than the 150 minimum required.

You still have 10 days to try to improve, good luck.

Sorry but as A1P said, a 94/134 is not especially high. The numbers he was quoting can be found here: Re: UMAT Discussion Thread 2016

The ACER practice papers are known to be relatively easy (reason: make students feel confident = don't pursue practice for the umat etc = keep the test more fair).

If you would like help, I suggest having a look through the Atarnotes UMAT discussion threads and the iCanMed website (has free tips if you scroll down far enough - http://www.icanmed.com.au).

And if you aren't enrolled in any other UMAT course/don't have many materials, I recommend attending a UMAT workshop:
- iCanMed is running two practice exams with in-depth explanations/tips etc: ICanMed UMAT 3-Hour Mock Test and Reviews
- Melbourne Academics is also running a 3 hour crash course: https://www.facebook.com/events/1627563170892433/
2014 - Math Methods CAS, Chinese SL
2015 - English, Specialist, Chemistry, Physics, Biology
2016-2020 - Monash University, Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) :D

before you react to that - 129/134 is an AMAZING SCORE and MTSE is a god.
So I wouldn't compare your score to hers, 94 isn't very high but its a good start and 10 days is a lot of time if you practice daily.
Over a 10 day period during the holidays, my scores jumped into the low 90s consistently.

Looking back at this thread, can I just say that I'm confused as to how the ACER practice exam score relate to actual umat results. I did the second acer practice test the day before the exam and got less than 94, and I got 88% in the actual thing.

So don't be discouraged (to anyone who may read this in the future) if you're getting low scores on the acer practice exams because no body really knows how they calculate your actual percentile.
