Bio Units 3&4 SAC 2 Enzymes HELP!!!

Has anyone done SAC 2 (Enzymes)? I really want to do well for this coming SAC, so does anyone know what questions that might be on the SAC? To anyone that has already done the SAC, can you post the questions that are on the SAC? I've done a lot of studying for this SAC so I just want to know whether I'm studying the right things at the moment. Thanks

I have this SAC today! It's discussion questions on a prac report for my school. Did you do a prac? Or is it a test?

I did the prac, with the liver and hydrogen peroxide. Tomorrow is the write up which is the actual SAC.

Did you use sand in the test tubes? I was confused what that was for...

So the sand in the test tube by itself was to test whether sand had enzymes, which since there was no reaction, so no enzymes were present.

Well each teacher writes the SAC their own way. If someone else had a question about carrots that does not necessarily mean you will! Some teachers intentionally give harder SACs while others give easier ones. Each teacher writes their own SAC.

Schools will usually assess on the following points:
Enzyme function and structure
Application questions
Experimental design (hypothesis, aim, IV, DV, control, conclusion)
Possible errors, their effects and how to overcome them
How to analyse and discuss results
How to talk about / graph the rate of reaction + factors affecting rate of reaction[/li][/list]

When you did the experiment/s, did you do any discussion questions? These will help you study for the SAC.
