Hey guys!
I'm a year 9 attempting to get a position into JMMS. So I'm going over year 9 and 10 for maths and just trying to grasp concepts in science but I'm so lost in what to do for numeric reasoning and science essay! How is everyone else studying?? How should I study for numeric and science essay. Is what I'm doing for maths and science enough? Im so anxious about the test cause I feel as if I'm not smart enough but yeh I'm trying....

All the best to everyone tho!
So all the past applicants and year 9 applying this year please feel free to write here!

Hi ankita,

I think you asked this in the other thread (no? or at least someone did) and it's been answered (not by me, but go check back there for the responses as well) :)

I think you're stressing out a bit too much and too early for the numerical reasoning exam and essay :P You should be perfectly fine for the exams by covering Year 9/10 content. When I applied for JMSS, I didn't study content that was too far ahead of my year level, but I was still really good in the exams (otherwise I wouldn't be a student of the school).

It's important to believe in yourself though. You shouldn't have to feel not smart enough if you're obviously making a big effort to make sure you put up your best performance when the exams come around. Confidence is key, haha :)

Good luck studying, and hope this helped :)
