Suzanne Cory, JMSS and Nossal High Entry tests

I'm sitting the test for SCHS, JMSS and Nossal High this year for entry into Yr 11. Any advice? I really want to get into Cory or Jmss, and I really need help on what and how to study.

- Linear Relations (Sketching, understanding the different properties)
- Measurement (Surface Area, Volume, Conversion, Area, Perimeter)
- Indices Law

- Geometry (Basics behind Congruence, Similarity and Bearings)
- Factorising and Expanding (Make sure you can do these fast)
- Parabolas (Sketching and Properties)
- Quadratic Equations (Nulls Law will be useful)
- Probability (Optional but may save a few seconds in the test if you understand how a certain chart works)

Hi Raj,
No I did not. This is the first time I'm going to sit an exam for JMSS, but i did sit an entrance exam for Select entry schools in Sydney. This time though, I really want to get into JMSS or Cory.

Nice, my cousin sat for the JMSS test for year 11 last year and got in. He told me that the test is really easy, it's just the interview that starts to eliminate people. If you are a student who is average in science and maths and do lots of extra- curricular activities, you'll be fine.
