Hello,
Basically my Context SAC (encountering conflict) is next week and its 30 marks out of the 100 for unit 3 and I would like some help with writing.
Its an ongoing SAC ( Monday-Thurs (4 periods) )
I can successfully break down the prompt, however i am unsure of what form to write; (feature article, expository, creative)
and with each form how to approach the prompt and what i need to write to successfully match the criteria
i am aiming for an A...please help, the novel is The Lieutenant.

You are lucky, to get four periods. I only got 75 minutes to write mine. I did an expository because that's what my teacher was urging us to do, I recommend to do the  one your teacher explained the most in class, they will reward you for it. (or not lol)

Which forms have you practised? Or which ones do you feel most confident with? If you're truly stuck, I'd probably recommend the expository style since that's the most conceptually simple (i.e. you won't have to mess about with developing a backstory for a feature article or a believable character's voice for a creative piece.) HOWEVER, if you're teacher is on a different bandwagon, then you should jump onto that instead. If they've been subtly (or not so subtly) edging you towards writing a feature article or something of that nature, then it'd be risky to do something radically different.

You're not locked into any styles, so if you try something this time that doesn't work for you, you can always explore an alternate route for the exam.
