Hey! I was wondering how everyone is taking there pens etc. into the exam room (a clear pencil case, a plastic sleeve, are you just carrying them). Also what exactly are you taking in? Because I'm not sure whether or not I should take a highlighter, because we're allowed to write on the question booklets right? Just not in reading time.

I'll be taking 5 new black pens and one highlighter!

Hey!

I definitely recommend a clear plastic sleeve because I find that holding onto the pens before the exams give me anxiety -- I get sweaty palms quite easily! Definitely bring a chilled bottle of water with you to every exam -- I found that it helped improve concentration when I was hydrated during the exam!

I ended up bringing:

- 9 pens (5 black and 4 blue)
- 1 highlighter
- Pencil and eraser (though I didn't really use it!)
- Ruler and calc (for maths)
- Bottle of water (chilled was preferred; make sure you have the wrappers off the bottle!)
- Knowledge ;)

Hopefully, this helps! And good luck with the start of your HSC on Thursday! :)

Hey,
I always bring in 2-3 highlighters, I think colour and compartmentalising things in tests really helps!
Goodluck.
