Hey Sophie! That is a question that will have a different answer for different people. I wrote a guide that touches on it here.

Personally, I would have big days ON and big days OFF, because I'd do big long shifts at work then make up for lost study time on other days. On average, probably 3-4 hours a day - Totalling about 20-25 hours a week - Is what I'd be doing. That included assignments and homework too ;D

But it's very much a YOU question. You should aim to do as much study as you can without losing motivation, losing time for your passions, or introducing unnecessary stress!! ;D
