Just wanted to know what are the best ways to make notes for History Extension... Do you guys just make notes on the historians you have studied?

Hey bluecarraway!

So I never actually wrote notes for History Extension! Now that doesn't mean that notes are a bad thing, that was just not the most effective form of study for me, and i instead relied on doing past papers to consolidate my knowledge, and highlighting/passive note taking on readings.

That being said, if I was going to write notes for History Extension, I would have done it in a table format. Imo tables are one of the best ways to take notes for all history subjects (and probably others too!). The ways you could do this is by putting the key historians down the left hand side, then the syllabus dot points across the top to see how each relate to one another, and could be used to argue a specific point :) Make sure to include some quotes! For section II, I'd tweak this table slightly to include the relevant debates in regards to your case study also :)

Hope this helps!
