With all due respect, scores really don't matter. As long as they can assist you with the mathematics required for methods/spesh, you should be fine.

Don't just base on what study score they got for each subject, but on that note, i would go with the 50 raw methods.

Hi Nat,

Obviously both tutors you are interested in are very familar with Methods and Specialist. While I can't recommend one to you based on their scores alone, I'd suggest you consider a couple of things. There's more to tutoring than their credentials, so I'd recommend having a chat to both of them and seeing which you click with better. There's no reason to waste money on a tutor because they scored well if their teaching style doesn't even work for you. Location and price are things that might be worth considering too. Personally I wouldn't hire a tutor that didn't have a working with children's check (unless they were 2016 graduates, but even then I'd be concerned).

If you're Melbourne based, I've heard good things about TuteSmart. 8)

Fair enough, raw 50 is always a perfect score after all.
Thing is, i've heard of many students get higher spesh scores than methods. Is this because they found spesh easier than methods

Oh no, I already have a methods tutor, I was just wondering which one is the "better one"
