Text guides for English

Which company provides better/more comprehensive English text guides? Insight or TSSM?

Hi there, welcome to ATAR Notes!

From my own experiences, I found both Insight and Pearson to write good introductory guides to help you get familiar with the text, assisting in gaining a foundational understanding of the basics (themes, characters, context etc). Conversely, I didn't find TSSM guides quite as helpful; the were usually less concise and less direct, whilst providing comparatively little detail. 

It is worth noting however that no single guide can really be called 'comprehensive', and whilst they can be good resources to use as you familiarise yourself with a text, you'll probably find after that stage that you'll no longer rely on it and be able to form your own, more detailed interpretations
