Would like assistance in picking a year 1 science elective

Hi, I'm picking courses for my first year and as a prospective Computing and Software Systems major, I'd like some assistance in deciding between MAST10010 Data Analysis 1 and PHYC10004 Physics 2 for my science elective in the second semester. I'm not really knowledgeable about data analysis as the subject material stands, but I've done pretty much all of Physics 2 in high school. I want to know if PHYC10004 is a decent WAM booster considering that, and whether MAST10010 is harder than it regardless, because at this point, I'm having to pick between them for the sake of having another science subject, and so I'm a bit torn with using it to learn something or using it to boost my grade, or whether it's possible to do both with Data Analysis, or maybe even neither being a good choice for this. I'd also appreciate any insight into the rest of my selected courses, and any idea of how much work I would be putting in a week in either semester. Thank you!

Semester 1
COMP10001 - Foundations of Computing
MAST10006 - Calculus 2
BLAW10001 - Principles of Business Law
MKTG10001 - Principles of Marketing

Semester 2
COMP10002 - Foundations of Algorithms
MAST10007 - Linear Algebra
Unsure (MAST10010 Data Analysis 1 or PHYC10004 Physics 2)
BLAW10002 - Free Speech and Media Law

Well I've never done physics 2 so I don't have much insight into that. However, data analysis 1 is a very unique math subject when I took it in 2016. The subject is an introductory stats course that doesn't make use of too many calculations like u would expect in a math subject. Rather, it is focused on teaching u the concepts of stats and how to understand what certain results mean and how to apply them. Frankly, i didnt enjoy it because I expected mostly calculations in the subject. So this could come down to whether u want a more mathsy subject

Data analysis is an introductory statistics course that deals with key concepts of statistical analysis and how to apply different statistical methods. Like dddknight said, it doesn't delve into depth or involve as much complex calculations. However, this is why I enjoyed it so much, since I was not very strong in maths coming out of VCE but was still interested in statistics in scientific methods. For me, it was the most enjoyable science elective that I did.

Thanks for the insight everyone, I think I'm going with Data Analysis although I haven't found a single source of information on Physics 2
