Trials are done and there are 5 weeks until the HSC. I've had a 2 week break from trials. But now as I've tried to get back into the swing of it, I wanted to go straight into past papers and realised that I've kind of forgotten all of the information I memorised for trials. Because for trials I was cramming. And I guess it worked. I got 97/100 for ancient and 96/100 for modern. But I went to do a prac response and now I have to go back and re-revise and re-memorise because the info was just put into my short term memory. I'm feeling kind of demotivated as a result of this. Everyone around me is smashing out past papers but here I am trying to memorise the content again. I can't be doing this 45 days before the hsc!
Anyone got any advice or had a similar experience? I'm majorly freaking out. I feel so unprepared for the hsc and it's my biggest fear to be unprepared for an exam (no joke it's a legitimate fear of mine ugh).
Hey!
So congrats on getting 97 and 96 in the histories. Thats so good!

I'd recommend doing them open book to start with. So instead of just going back and memorising everything COMPLETELY, you're completing the question with what you can remember, solidifying it and you're filling in the gaps by having your notes there if you need them, which means you're still relearning it but in an effective way.
Good luck, hope this helps!
