Exam Timetable

I'm sure this applies to other people...

On Monday 2nd of Nov I've got Biology in the morning and Spesh 2 in the afternoon.

My question is:

What should I do between exams?

- Stay at school and go over stuff on specialist
- Go to a friend's house nearby and chill
- Go shopping
- Study for other subjects
- Go home and sleep/eat/study
- Other

To those that are in similar situations (multiple exams on one day), what do you plan on doing?

I'd say it really depends how you're feeling on the day after Biology. If you're feeling tired or possibly quite demoralised after Biology (I'm not assuming that you will, but it's quite common to feel that way regardless of how well you actually performed - I did after some of my exams), then it's probably best to sleep or go somewhere to clear your head (friend's house etc.) A bit of a 'warm up' for spesh could be useful though (30 minutes of questions or so?) just to help iron out careless mistakes, but don't do too much to fatigue yourself.

I have 2 exams english and spesh exam 1 on the same day. thinking about sleeping in the library. I wouldn't study in that period, it'd just make u out of power.

I would suggest to stay at school simply because it will keep you in that frame mind. Whether you decide to study or not is up to you. I suggest not to do any trial exams in between because that may tire you out when you do the actual exam. There's about 2 and a half hours between English and Spesh 1. For that, I suggest relax at school for a bit, then maybe have a discussion with your class mates and perhaps go over some really difficult questions. Just don't do too much because it may impact your performance on the exam

I had accounting and physics on the same day for my mid-years, and legal and physics on the same day for end-of-years.

I found it beneficial to engage in the discussion aftermath of my first exam (which is inevitable and helps you get that subject off your chest).
After that, I usually ended up eating something (I always lose my appetite during times of stress, i.e. exams, and have to sit down specifically to eat).
Umm... both times I ended up in an empty classroom with friends... I flicked through my notes and just talked about it with friends (mostly 'OMG I'm so nervous', lol XD).

I think looking through some notes and stuff just helps you get you into the frame of mind for that subject, so that you're refreshed and ready for it (try switching your brain from legal studies mode to physics mode... it's not fun).

I *strongly* recommend against trying to complete any particularly hard problems, because if you can't then you'll stress.
By all means, review your work on hard problems you have completed, but do NOT try anything new when there's only a couple of hours before your exam.

If you need to get away from the school atmosphere, then, by all means, go to your friend's house.
Keep focused on your next exam though, don't end up randomly playing Wii or something.

I think sometimes last minute studying can stress you out more and panic.

But maybe just a little bit to get into the mindset like Fyrefly said is ok.

After you've gotten all of your feelings off your chest about your first exam, it might be worth doing something relaxing. I know that it really helps me to go walking before exams: it seems to make me less nervous, but somehow invigorates me. It might not work for you, but definitely don't do anything stressful or related to school... you'll be doing enough thinking with two exams as it is!

At this point in time I think i'm having lunch with my friend :)

She's not doing spesh so they'll be no chance of giving me a surprise hard question :P
