exam missed?

Hey,

what happens if you miss a method exam? what you will get as a study score? a 0?

You'd get something called a DES (derived examination score), which would be determined by your ranking, SAC scores, GAT scores and potentially any moderation by VCAA. The DES is essentially what's used in the event you missed the exam for a legitimate reason in which you had no control over e.g. illness (e.g. sore throat and fever) and will give you a modified SS. More details here.
You'd have to apply for it with reasonable grounds and have to have full documentation as to why you missed it e.g. a doctor's certificate and a few additional notes stating you were really unwell that day (e.g. fever), fill out a bunch of forms, etc..
