Hi J_Rho!
When I had my interview I was asked questions like this:
- What is the most important trait that a leader must have?
- What are the top 3 attributes that would make you a good school captain?
- Next year will be stressful, what people would you turn to if you need help?
- If students are misbehaving, are you willing to pull them up on their behaviour and correct them? How would you handle the situation?
Some other people were asked questions like: Have you broken any rules?
And stuff like that.
Tips for breaking the ice... humour is a good tool. Don't overdo it though. I wouldn't worry too much about breaking the ice, they'll understand that you are probably nervous and they will lead the interview. They might ask you questions like: How are you? or How's your day so far? before getting straight into all of the questions. So yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about this. Just remember to be yourself, relax (if you can) and have fun
