Hello I put dentistry at la trobe as my first VTAC preference. I am using their atar adjustment factors calculator to see if I have a chance to receive their offer. And I would like to know how subject adjustment score is calculated. I want to estimate my selection rank to see if I am above the lowest selection rank.
According to the website
Quote
For courses that require a high level of skill and knowledge, you may be eligible to receive adjustments for subjects that you successfully completed in Year 12.

Subject adjustment points may be awarded to eligible Year 12 applicants as part of the selection process and are expressed as points applied to the aggregate adjustment score.

And on the calculator, the subject adjustment point is from 0~12. I did specialist maths and LOTE as my yr 12 subject and got 40+ in both (scaled up score). Does anyone know how this score is calculated? I have been keep searching on google but I couldn't find any answer. Please help!

I had a brief look around and couldn't find any information that the dental science course at Latrobe take into account subject bonus points. I have looked at other courses in the latrobe website and they show what bonus points are avaliable in the "Applicants with recent secondary education" part of the page.

Was there anywhere which stated for this particular course bonus points being given out for certain subjects?

I found it on their adjustment factor calculator section. I don't know if dental science have subject bonus points. Does bonus point mean that students who completed a particular yr 12 subject get extra points?

From what I looked at Dental science does not give out bonus points (checking the vtac website and the actual latrobe site)

In general bonus points are given for certain courses for students complete certain VCE subjects and score above a certain score.
