Best website to find practice papers?

I heard some of the best methods of practicing/studying for biology is by doing past exams, what are the best websites that you guys use for getting practice papers? Are their practice papers for each individual chapter or are they only with units? Can I find worksheets online? Any revision material would be helpful thank you (I am using the nelson 1/2 VCE biology textbook)

 :P :P :P :) :o :o :o

Hey sackbunny!
There are official past VCAA papers of course, and most of us use company papers (Insight, Aced, Access, Kilbaha, Neap, QAT's, etc.) which are either bought separately or given to us by teachers/ tutors.
Past VCAA exams and examination reports (which are very handy but have a look at them after you've written the exam): https://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/assessment/vce-assessment/past-examinations/Pages/Biology.aspx
Unfortunately, I can't share any of the company papers because AN doesn't allow it and we wouldn't want any legal issues sorry about that!
For learning content through videos you can try Douchey's podcasts and Khanacademy (sometimes goes outside the study design but very comprehensive and also if you wanna get into med you can check out their med videos which teach about like anatomy of different organs and systems it's soo amazing. I used to binge watch it in my free time in Year 9 and 10. Sorry off track).
For which company exams are the best, here is the list from me (I'm doing 3/4 this year) and other high scoring individuals:
- Neap
- Insight
- Aced
- Lisachem and STAV (harder than VCAA exams sometimes and goes a teensy bit out of study design but great!)

Also for topics like experimental design, enzymes, cellular resp, and photosynth worksheets are all over the internet so there should be no problem there, but they're mostly for getting content down pat.

High scoring individuals also frequently mention to balance practice exams with marking them, analysing weaknesses, and working on them :)

All the best sackbunny!

Thanks for the detailed response! I just have a couple more questions,
I checked the paid services and their material looks great, which one out of the four do you recommend most for sciences?
Also, are the practice exams on the VCAA website units 1 and 2? How do I know which units I am being tested on as as of now I only know unit 1.

I personally recommend Insight and Neap as they are according to many similar in difficulty to VCAA. The past exams on the VCAA are strictly units 3 and 4. Are you doing Bio 1/2 right now?

I am teaching myself biology unit 1/2 now at home in preparation for next year in which I will be studying biology 3/4

Oh! I was exactly in that spot a year ago. I think maybe just go over some points in 1/2 to get a hang of the study methods are the most helpful for learning Bio quickly but don't spend too much time actually learning the content, as a lot of 1/2 is unnecessary for 3/4. I think it's best to learn 3/4 content in the holidays as it'll stay fresh in your head when school starts, and for most of the year before exam revision I suggest just doing practice questions and practice sacs (when you're studying for them) rather than exams as you want to save them for exam revision :)
