Just curious here, not intending to do that. Is it really worth suicide over a low ATAR?
I don't know how many times I have to say this:
Your ATAR is not the total sum of your worth. Your expectations of yourself are reflections of things you've seen and experienced - other people's expectations of you are not worth the anguish.
No matter how high your expectations of yourself - and no matter how low you're feeling - you are worthy of a life filled with joy and care. You are worthy of the people who support you, who love you. You are worthy of self love. You are worthy of support in the hardest times and in the easiest.
Suicide is never even something to be considered. And if you or someone you care about is feeling like it may be, please refer them to your local GP and mental health services (with their permission) or share the links below:
