WISH i had of done VCE Biology. Would have made it so much easier first semester!!! Chemistry was a little help for Chem for biomed, however there was ALOT of new content. Physics helped a fair bit especially for a few topics. Accounting was a HUUUUGGGEE help for my breadth subject.

I'm glad I didn't do VCE Economics, because I feel like it would have cluttered up my knowledge of real economics.

My controversial viewpoint.

(Specialist and Chemistry were really useful for my Engineering degree. Methods helped with Specialist too, so that's indirectly involved. Physics helped me understand some stuff a bit more. I would have chose something like Biology or Accounting instead of Information Systems in year 11, in hindsight.)

I agree, whilst it did help a little bit because I'd already done afew things covered, it over complicated and confused me on many things. I realised quite early into first semester that I should pretty much ignore what I'd learnt in alot of VCE Economics and go in with a fresh mind.

Also I regret not doing Accounting which would've given me a solid background going into first year.

VCE Accounting, Business Management, IT:A and Further Maths have all been extremely useful!

Accounting = ARA, ATA etc
BM = general business knowledge, useful for theory with ARA, ATA, BPA etc
IT:A = BPA, flow charts, information qualities etc
FM = QM1, statistics (FM core module)
