It will get scaled according to how well your cohort performs on the exams

If your class performs poorly in which the highest mark is a B, then rank 1s sac mark will count as a B. However if the class performs strongly and the highest exam score is an A+, then rank 1s sac mark will be an A+

If you are rank 1, then it won't depend on the cohort. It will depend on your performance in the exams.

Would this be only for rank 1? What if you're like 2nd or 3rd? :S

Well rank one would get the classes highest exam score as their sac score. Generally rank 1 in sacs get's the highest exam mark therefore for themself it depends only on their exam performance
