I think you have the 1st of Feb to decide, if I read correctly.  Am I right?

P.S.  I have never felt so n00b in my life.

You can still change subjects before the census date which is about 2 weeks after term starts (you can look up the dates in your diary)

Well, i chose in first year "Critical thinking with data" and "Accounting reports and analysis". Next year i'm doing "accounting transactions and analysis" and "business forensics and fraud". I'm unsure of what I'll be doing in third year yet, there are a few things that interest me but i'll just see how i go this year  :)

If you would like a med/science-based breadth subject, I would recommend 800-205 Genetics, Health and Society. (https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2010/800-205)

I did it last year as a first year science student. It's a second year breadth, but the genetics covered are at a high school level. It includes some science inc basics of genetics and genetic diseases, and goes into detail about the ethical implications of genes/DNA in forensics, paternity, law, confidentiality etc.
The assessment is pretty easy and it doesn't involve too many contact hours. Coming from a science background, the content is easy to understand and learn :) It's also interesting to look at genetics from a different perspective.

interesting...

anyone done "From Plato to Einstein" or "Intro to climate change"?
how are they in terms of workload and interest for a science based person?

haha yeah they were both the subjects that i did first year. From Plato to Einstein has a minimal workload throughout the semester (just studying before tests) but the essay will requite a fair bit. Intro to climate change is similar...didnt study it throughout the semester just did the worshops and crammed before the exam for an easy h1
