your 'connection' can't be one of your oral examiners, it's against the rules. if the examiner knows you, then they will walk out of the exam room to call in another spare examiner to conduct the conversation with you.

yeah but apparently there was this girl in my chinese class last yr, and our teacher was one of the examiners
but she stayed in the room and asked her more basic qns.

i know its against the rules and stuff; but who can tell if the student/teacher know each other besides themselves???
so nobody really knows abt it...get my drift..?

One of my oral examiners taught me in Year 10. I was so happy when I saw her hahaha.

If a relative works at VCAA they are not allowed to work on/see the exams that you will be sitting. Those exams are kept in a different section of the building, under a different security system.
And if a VCAA employee releases exams or information about the exams they are investigated by the police.

But he did tell us that if we knew the examiner then we should say so straight away, because otherwise it wouldn't be a fair examination.

lol.

My dad's friend works where they print the VCAA exams, but I haven't tried getting any exams off him (and I doubt I even could!).
When I get sad, I stop being sad, and be AWESOME instead. True story.

A incident like this happened at my school awhile back.

Somehow some students managed to take some exam papers (probably lax security) and read them before the exam.
They absolutely aced it but they got hammered down because they were idiots.

There was a huge difference between their SAC + GAT marks and the exam.

The moral of the story is, if your getting E-'s, dont cheat yourself up to A+
