Approved absence?

Hi all,

I will be completing my VCE for an enter this year. I have been told that if I happen to miss out on a SAC, I need to bring a medical certificate.

In March, I know that I will be absent for one day as I am taking a short trip to Adelaide over a weekend for the Clipsal 500.

I hope that no SAC's pop up on this day, but if they do, I was wondering if there was a way to "approve" my absence in advance, so there will be no hassles?

I think you only need a medical certificate if you were absent without any prior arrangement on the day of the SAC. I was away once for a cycling competition on the day of a SAC, and I just arranged with my teacher before that to have it done the day after. Anyway, you should definitely be able to arrange to have your SAC on another day. Hope this helps :)
