Cos, Sin, Tan Graphs

Purely for Exam purposes, I'm looking at finding a way to be able to accurately sketch a cos, sin or tan graph in the quickest way possible.

Sketch the graph of for one cycle.
(It doesn't have to be drawn, I just want to see the Algebraic method you have taken to find all the intercepts and necessary points required)

Well, depending on the question, what it specifies.

If it specifically asks for "axis intercepts" then i would begin by letting x and y = 0 and solving for the points to get an idea of what the graph looks like. then pretty much connect the dots to the appropriate amplitude

If it asks for turning points, then i would do that last, after i've drawn the graph to ensure that it is correct
